Nightfall Brigade

The Nightfall Brigade, a military unit formed by soldiers, adventurers and citizens in the common goal to reclaim their home of Gilneas. The kingdom has been under torment ever since its children was scattered for the winds. The wall lies in ruin, its roads paved with blood, sweat and tears as they were forced to flee, or fall beneath the vile assault of the Forsaken.

The Brigade has under the careful leadership of Marshal John Wilcox and his officers, set its course for home. Beyond their goals of reclaiming their home, they show great allegiance to the Alliance as they assist them when they are able to bring their forces to the fray. They are bonded together both afflicted as well as unafflicted as they fight with fists, steel, claws and teeth united under the black raven crested banners.

Marshal Wilcox assumed command after his previous friend and mentor took to step down for a greater cause, leaving the reins of vengeance in the hands of a warrior’s spirit enhanced to see the once great Kingdom rise again. Their allegiance does not falter as military operations are taken care of across the continents in the name of Gilneas, and in the name of the Alliance.

Within its ranks the Brigade houses pathfinders; specialized members of the Nightfall Brigade whose duty is to conclude covert operations as well as scouting.

The Nightfall Brigade Menders; a unit of battle trained healers across multiple schools of magic, there to keep people safe and to prevent the creators from claiming the fallen without a fight.

The Nightfall Assault; fierce members of the Brigade trained in the many arts of combat, all fueled to strike out and take down their enemies with brute force.

The Nightfall Brigade Guardians; With sword and shield, or tooth and claw, the Brigade will not falter without a fight and the guardians are here to make a stance, preventing more losses than necessary as well as preventing the threat to advance.

The Brigade holds the same politics as in the past but this time with the understanding that no one can, nor should stand alone in this way. With its ranks filled purely by the citizens of Gilneas, it has its promise to them to not let their heritage crumble below their feet unlike other kingdoms has been seen do.

For the Kingdom of Gilneas, the Nightfall Brigade will prevail in war and protect when peace falls upon their lands once more.
